For my fellow chesty girls...

Link to Shop:   Ta Ta Tamer v.2   $58.00

This post is dedicated to any of you girls who have struggled to find an adequate sports bra to hold your larg(er) chest in place whilst working out.  I am a full C bra size and would consider myself somewhat "top heavy".  Over my years of working out, even when I was younger, I could not find a good bra to keep my boobs from bouncy up to my chin.  I always feared the intense bouncing would somehow cause stretch marks, so I would always double up on my bras whenever I participated in any sort of cardio exercise.

(I realize this theory is false, but hey, we believe whatever we want to believe, right?)

A year or so ago, I came across the brand Lululemon and via Dara Kaye (Anyone else love her?) and heard incredible raves about their apparel quality. I do not have a store anywhere close to me (I live in Indiana), so I went online to have a look.  Their prices are crazy high in my humble opinion, but I have to say that this sports bra was worth EVERY penny.

Key things that I love about this bra:

  • The thick straps really provide incredible support.  This bra makes my boobs sit high on my chest and barely move when I'm jumping or running.  Remember, if you cross the straps on the back, this provides maximum support.
  • It is surprisingly comfortable for something so thick and supportive.
  • The color options are so pretty!  I own the bra in boring black but I am so tempted to pick up the Coral and Teal colors.  I love the contrast color on the back straps in these two colors!  Who says big chested girls have to wear boring ugly sports bras? ;)
I cannot rave about this bra enough.  I have finally found the sports bra that allows me to exercise without any extra layers, discomfort, or interference.

Let me know what sports bra you use and if you happy with what you have.

A staple in one's spring wardrobe...

I have been deliberating on getting one of these bad boys for awhile now.  I first saw the fluoro ones about a year or so ago and fell in love.  They seem like such a timeless piece to have especially if you get it embossed with your initials.  When I saw Barbara talk about how much she loves hers, I began to talk myself into buying one.  Then, Laura's post on her satchel and made me realize that life couldn't go on (how dramatic of me) until I owned the lilac version.  So now I must make a decision and I think it's going to be the Classic Brown satchel.  To be continued... <wink>
