For my fellow chesty girls...

Link to Shop:   Ta Ta Tamer v.2   $58.00

This post is dedicated to any of you girls who have struggled to find an adequate sports bra to hold your larg(er) chest in place whilst working out.  I am a full C bra size and would consider myself somewhat "top heavy".  Over my years of working out, even when I was younger, I could not find a good bra to keep my boobs from bouncy up to my chin.  I always feared the intense bouncing would somehow cause stretch marks, so I would always double up on my bras whenever I participated in any sort of cardio exercise.

(I realize this theory is false, but hey, we believe whatever we want to believe, right?)

A year or so ago, I came across the brand Lululemon and via Dara Kaye (Anyone else love her?) and heard incredible raves about their apparel quality. I do not have a store anywhere close to me (I live in Indiana), so I went online to have a look.  Their prices are crazy high in my humble opinion, but I have to say that this sports bra was worth EVERY penny.

Key things that I love about this bra:

  • The thick straps really provide incredible support.  This bra makes my boobs sit high on my chest and barely move when I'm jumping or running.  Remember, if you cross the straps on the back, this provides maximum support.
  • It is surprisingly comfortable for something so thick and supportive.
  • The color options are so pretty!  I own the bra in boring black but I am so tempted to pick up the Coral and Teal colors.  I love the contrast color on the back straps in these two colors!  Who says big chested girls have to wear boring ugly sports bras? ;)
I cannot rave about this bra enough.  I have finally found the sports bra that allows me to exercise without any extra layers, discomfort, or interference.

Let me know what sports bra you use and if you happy with what you have.

A staple in one's spring wardrobe...

I have been deliberating on getting one of these bad boys for awhile now.  I first saw the fluoro ones about a year or so ago and fell in love.  They seem like such a timeless piece to have especially if you get it embossed with your initials.  When I saw Barbara talk about how much she loves hers, I began to talk myself into buying one.  Then, Laura's post on her satchel and made me realize that life couldn't go on (how dramatic of me) until I owned the lilac version.  So now I must make a decision and I think it's going to be the Classic Brown satchel.  To be continued... <wink>

Spring/Summer Sneakers

Links to Shop:   ONE.   TWO.   THREE.   FOUR.   FIVE.   SIX.   SEVEN.   EIGHT.

I am a TOTAL sneakers/trainers/tennis shoes/runners (is there any other way to say it?!) girl.  On my days off work, you will most likely find me in some kind of tennis shoe.  With that said, I have been lusting over the pairs above for awhile now and have decided that I must have them all.  Now, I just have to decide which bank to rob.  One thing I will say, the price of the New Balance shoe (#6) is considerably less at Journey's as opposed to Topshop's.  Topshop has the outrageous price of $130! Am I missing something here?

P.S. I've been deliberating over which style of "wedge sneaker" that I should own... so I caved and bought these.  Everything is good in the world now!  ;)

Tube Skirts

Links to Shop:

I am obsessed (and I mean OBSESSED) with Tube Skirts.  I am bigger on my top half than my bottom, so pencil/tube skirts seem to be most flattering for my shape.  I found these skirts from Topshop and fell in love.  I have tube skirts in literally every color but these have the coolest patterns that I am unable to find anywhere else.  I feel like $45 is reasonable price for something so unique.

I'll definitely be filling up my shopping cart at Topshop within the next couple of days. ;)

Current LuLu's Top Pick Shoes

 Links to Shop:

I check the "New Arrivals" at LuLu's.com almost daily.  Above are the four pairs of shoes that I am currently drooling over for the upcoming warm seasons.  Unfortunately, the prices make me cringe though....

I did end up purchasing the Chinese Laundry Gold Plated Sandals and let me tell you... They are PHENOM.  The huge downside was that I bought them in my size and they ended up being a full size too big.  I immediately called to have them exchanged and unfortunately they had already sold out in my size.  I was informed that these were very popular and would mostly be restocked.  However, I did not want to wait so I decided to sell them to my sister who just so happened to fit in them perfectly.  Sigh.  We just can't have everything.

Oh well.  Maybe I'll have better luck in the Atiko Bryn wedges. ;)

P.S.  The Atiko Bryn wedges do come in a fab Peppermint color as well.

Spring Blouse - Save or Splurge?

Links to Shop:
Dolce Vita Blouse                                                  Aliya Blouse

Two of one of my favorite shops (Urban Outfitters and Alloy) are carrying essentially the same blouse.  The biggest difference is the price so I figured this was worth mentioning.  I'm a huge fan of the crochet/lace look for spring but I definitely would have to go the modest route with a white tank top underneath.

Would you try this trend?
